Charles R. Blankenship
February 27, 1930 – January 19, 2023
IN THE CARE OF
Charles R. Blankenship, 92, of Forest passed peacefully January 19, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Virginia Blankenship and his children Linda H. Ramsey, and Philip L. Nelson.
Charles is survived by his sister, Reva Geppi, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Charles was a Navy Veteran, having served in Korea, and was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and great-great grandfather.
Funeral services will be conducted at Whitten Funeral Chapel Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 1pm, with interment following at Fort Hill Memorial Park. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
