Carol S. Pribble

Carol S. Pribble “Mema”, 72, of Rustburg passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Douglas M. Pribble, Sr. Born August 9, 1944, in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late James Self and the late Florence Self.

Carol was a retired production worker for CB Fleet.

In addition to her husband and parents, Carol was preceded in death by one daughter, Carolyn Annette Pribble; and two brothers, J.I. Self and Dennis Self.

Carol is survived by her three children Douglas Pribble, Jr. and wife Christy, James A. Pribble, Sr. and wife April and Lisa Leger and husband Glenn; grandchildren, Jacob and Madison Pribble, Ryan Leger and wife Meagan, Elizabeth Wilder and husband Ryan, Chris Leger and wife Samantha, Logan and Nick Leger, Erica Pifer, Tiffany, Danielle, Jamie and James Jr. Pribble; great grandchildren, Aiden, Peyton and Nolan Leger, Dayanara, Chloe and Brooklyn Pifer; many nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; brother, Carl Self and wife Joyce; and sisters, Pat Wade, Linda Weiss, Brenda Lambert and Deane Viar and husband Tony.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Friday, November 25, 2016, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
