Born in Salisbury, MD, June 25, 1968, he was the son of Faye Wilkerson Downs of Selbyville, DE and the late William Joe Davis. He was also preceded in death by his step-father, Cecil Downs.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Sandra “Sandy” Davis; his daughter, Melissa Pickard and her husband Dennis of Rustburg; his sister, Tina Davis Jamerson of Selbyville, DE; four grandchildren, Kaylee Cash, Nicholas Turbin, Destinie Pickard and Jasmine Pickard and a number of nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Billy was a truck driver for NAPA. During his off time, he loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle having recently rode to see his mother in Delaware. He enjoyed the outdoors and he loved fishing.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 9, 2021 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
