Anne Ford Tuck

Born in Lynchburg, August 6, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Edwin Ford and Jessie Adkins Ford. She was retired from Ralph’s Beauty Salon after serving 35 years as their receptionist.

She was preceded in death by her four brothers Henry, Edwin, William (Bill), and Jessie Ford.

Survivors include one sister, Wende F. Hollingsworth of Centreville, VA and a number of nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2014 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Pastor Bill Evans officiating.

The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to either the DAV 8400 Timberlake Rd., Lynchburg, VA 24502 or to the Lynchburg Humane Society 3305 Naval Reserve St., Lynchburg, VA 24501.
