She was born in Denmark on June 8, 1939, daughter of the late Kaj Arne Christensen and the late Petra Nissen Christensen.
In addition to her parents and husband, Terrance, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Kaj Christensen and Ole Christensen.
She earned an Associate in Arts and Sciences Degree from Central Virginia Community College and a BS degree in from Lynchburg College where she was elected to Outstanding College Students of American and was a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Sorority. She was retired from Danville City Schools where she was recognized for her dedicated service to special children. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by two sons, Erik Logan and his wife Flora and Brent Logan and his wife Justina; one daughter, Suzanne Mebane and her husband Dennis; seven grandchildren, Jayden Mebane, Stephanos Logan, Julia Mebane, Mara Logan, Issandra Castillo, Isaac Castillo and Jessyca Castillo.
A service celebrating her life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Celebrant Polly Starnes officiating.
