Ann was born February 3, 1915, the daughter of the late Andrew and Catherine Molitoris and came to the United States of America as an immigrant from Kacwin, Czechoslovakia at the age of 7 with her mother, Katerina Molitoris thru Ellis Island to join her father, already there, for a better way of life. She is officially registered in the American Immigrant Wall of Honor, in the Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation.
Ann met her future husband, Frank, in a dentist office in New York and came to Virginia in 1948 and worked with her husband in the Frank R. Morrison Real Estate & Insurance Agency. She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church.
Ann is survived by her twin daughters, Marlene Williamson and her husband, Gene and Carol Williamson and her husband, Ronnie, all of Lynchburg; four grandchildren, Ann W. Farris and husband, Tom of West Bend WI, Gene T. Williamson, Jr. and wife, Sabrina of Lynchburg, Rodger S. Williamson and wife, Qiang Chen Williamson of Kitakyushu, Japan, and Carrie L. Williamson of Richmond; and two great-grandchildren, Owen Chen Williamson and Kevin Chen Williamson, also of Kitakyushu, Japan.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Pastor Reason Chandler and Pastor Carlton Duck officiating.
The family will receive friends, Wednesday, at the funeral home, for one hour prior to the service, beginning at noon.
The family wishes to thank Ann’s roommate, Imelda Howell, while she was at Guggenheimer, all of the ladies at Centra Hospice for their love and support, and the nurses and staff of Lynchburg General Hospital and Guggenheimer Nursing Home. They would also like to say a special thanks to Janice Privette, Robin, and Deborah, at the Privette House, who made our Mama’s last days comfortable and peaceful. We will never forget you.
