Angela Salomone Avery, 101 of Lynchburg, Virginia peacefully passed away on February 7, 2024.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Assunta and Emiliano Salomone, and her son, John David Avery.
Angela is survived by her sons Charles and his wife Ellen and James and his wife Susan; daughter in law Kathleen; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Angela was special. She never met a stranger, and if you had the pleasure of knowing her, you were amazed by her energy and her optimistic nature. Above all, Angela’s love for her family was paramount in her life. She was loved by so many, and will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Family and friends will gather from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, February 23 at Rossi Funeral Home, 1937 Westfield Ave. Westfield, NJ. A funeral mass will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 24 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Westfield, NJ Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield
