She was preceded in death by her husband, William Earl Britt and brother, Clarence Pruitt.

Left to cherish her memories are children, Shara Britt and husband David of Graham, William Earl Britt, Jr. and wife Traci of Kannapolis, Brenda Lee Fields and husband Billy of Lumberton, and Walker Britt III of the home; grandsons, Joshua Britt and wife Amber, Garrett Britt, Matthew Britt, William Evan Fields, Michael Wesley Britt, William Austin Britt, and Ethan Cole Britt; granddaughter, Logan Kaitlen Fields; great-grandsons, Caiden Britt and Gavin Atkinson; sisters, Alma Fields and Nellie Evans; and brother, Ivey Pruitt, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Biggs Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 28, 2012 in Biggs Funeral Home Chapel. She will be laid to rest in Meadowbrook Cemetery.
