Mrs. Hannaford was born February 18, 1950 in Poplarville. She was a member of Little Black Creek Baptist Church and retired from Mississippi Power. She was known to everyone as "Nanny" and will be remembered for being an excellent cook and a loving homemaker. She was passionate about her love for Christ and devoting time to her church family. She enjoyed spending time with her family and supporting her grandchildren in all of their activities.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Clay Madden and Ineta Hendricks Madden.
Family members include her husband of 51 years, Steve Hannaford; two children, Stephanie Hannaford Lott and her husband Brent, Clay Hannaford and his wife Kristen; two siblings, Ann Douglas and her husband Winston, Danny Madden and his wife Kay; three grandchildren, Kelsey Sumrall and her husband Matt, Anna Claire Hannaford, Walker Hannaford; and one great grandson, Kasen Sumrall; and a host of extended family and friends.
Graveside services will be held at Little Black Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (1276 Little Black Creek Road, Lumberton, MS, 39455) on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 11:00 am.
