Mr. Lowe was born on December 30, 1932 in Lumberton, Mississippi to Arthur and Alma Dearman Lowe. He was a member of Baxterville Baptist Church; a Mississippi Army National Guard veteran; and a retired Superintendent with Magnolia Oilfield Services, Inc. He married Betty J. Saul on February 4, 1952.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, William Earl Lowe on January 5, 1953; one brother, Glendale Lowe; and one grandson-in-law, Jerry Purvis, II.
Family members include his wife of 65 years, Betty Saul Lowe; one son, Randy (Brenda) Lowe; one daughter, Rhonda (Rusty) Parker; two brothers, Roger (Lavada) Lowe, Baylis (Nelda) Lowe; four sisters, Christine (Doc) Cagle, Ellen (Mason) Thompson, Sharon Lowe, Bobbie (Dave) Simmons; four granddaughters, Jenni Purvis, Kelli (Brook) Sanders, Jordan (Destry) Sistrunk, Mariah (Dustin) Bolin; nine great grandchildren, Seth (Alex) Nelson, Sydney Hester, Trent Sanders, Aubrie Sanders, Karlee Bolin, Kolten Bolin, Shiloh Ladner, Kiah Bolin, Renee Hibley; two great-great grandchildren, Marley Nelson and Abel Nelson.
Funeral services will be at White Funeral Home, 102 North 1st Street, Lumberton, MS, 39455 on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 10:00 am. Rev. Ron Alexander will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Doug Lowe Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jeff McNeece, Seth Nelson, Brook Sanders, Dustin Bolin, Destry Sistrunk, Jesse Saul, Ethan Johnson, and Greg Knue. Honorary pallbearers will be Trent Sanders and Terry Lowe.
