Michelle Anne Harris Sinnard

Michelle was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother. She loved her family and enjoyed life to the fullest extent. She never let any obstacle stand in her way. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Michelle will be missed by everyone who loved her.

Survivors include her parents, Delora and Joe Sims of Lufkin and Mickey Harris of Rockport; daughter and son-in-law, Audrey and Mark Barnes of Lufkin; son, Jeffery Burch of Lufkin; brother and sister-in-law, Phill and Sharon Harris of Ft. Worth; sisters and brothers-in-law, Josette and Buddy Collier of Lufkin, Lori Mathews of Huntington and Samantha and Brian James of Huntington; grandchildren, Gabriel, Alexis and Riley Barnes; aunts and uncles, Howard and Myrna Alwais of San Antonio, Elna King of San Antonio, Gary and Lynda Harris of Friendswood, John and Betty Sims of Lufkin, Larry and Sheryl Sims of Longview, Mike and Sharon Perry of Lufkin, and Tim and Annette Sims of Nacogdoches.

Michelle was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lowell and Ruby Silvers.

Expressions of sympathy in Michelle's memory may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for Crippled Children, 6977 Main Street, Houston, Texas 77030.

Pallbearers will be Jeffery Burch, Mark Barnes, Casey Mathews, Buddy Collier, Zach Collier, Sean Mathews, Vance Shivers, Shelby Shivers and Damian Smith.

Honorary pallbearers will be Lowell Harris, Phillip Harris and Jarrett O'Con.

Services for Michelle will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 2011 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Jeremy Grisel officiating. Interment will follow in the Whitehouse Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at Gipson Funeral Home.
