Louise Williams

Funeral service for Louise Williams, 96, of Zavalla will be held at 10 AM, Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at Broaddus Pentecostal Church with Rev. Mark Green officiating and Rev. Jathan Green. Mrs. Williams will be laid to rest at Oak Grove Cemetery.

Louise was born June 25, 1927 in Zavalla, Texas, daughter of the late Altie Mittie (Perkins) and Jack Rhoudes. She passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024 at the Huntington Healthcare and Rehabilitation.

Mrs. Williams was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her 162 grandchildren were her pride and joy, she loved to spoil them. Louise enjoyed cooking and playing 42. She was a member of the Broaddus Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include Altie and John Ford of Zavalla, TX; Rebecca and Rick Adkins of Freeport, OH; Billy and Tammy Williams of Chireno, TX; John Paul Williams of Zavalla, TX; Henry and Suzanne Williams of Zavalla, TX; Jack and Pam Hooks of Zavalla, TX; Carrel and Georgia Williams of Atlanta, TX; David and Susan Williams of Abilene, TX; Whitney and Clayton Permenter of Nacogdoches, TX; Emily and Robert Householder of AK; Brandi and Oscar Hooks of Zavalla, TX; 33 grandchildren, Debra, Nathan, Michael, Keith, Patricia, Jessie, Scotty, Jase, Page, Nicole, Jason, Kevin, Star, Christien, Jeremy, Joshua, Jessica, John Troy, Angela, Catherine, Sonja, Sarah, Katie, Billy, Tracy, Kimberly, Anthony, Britany, J.P., Misty, Star, Samantha, Tapanga; 80 great-grandchildren; 44 great-great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Elton Day Williams; daughter, Rosalee Blake; grandchildren, Jason Hooks, Kevin Hooks, Nathen Hawley, and Amy Gray; 6 sisters; and 3 brothers.

Pallbearers will be John Troy Ford, Henry Williams, Johnny Williams, Little Billy Williams, Michael Hawley, Joshua Williams, Anthony Williams, and Justin Moody.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Broaddus Pentecostal Church.
