Laura “Blu” Hammack, 45, of Pollock was born January 26, 1977 to Gayle (Stanford) and Glenn Berry in Brownsville, Texas. She passed away Friday, November 11, 2022 at her residence.

Blu was a loving mother and grandmother, who spent her time helping others. She loved being outdoors. She also enjoyed spending valuable time with her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Survivors include her daughter, Jazlyn Hammack and spouse Dalton Davis of Wells, Texas; son, Kylar Weatherly of Deer Park, Texas; grandson, Christian Collier of Wells, Texas; granddaughters, Emersyn Davis of Hughes Springs, Texas and Mary Jane Davis of Wells, Texas; her mother, Gail Stanford of Florida.

She is preceded in death by her father, Glenn Berry and grandson, Joshua Clay Collier, Jr.

Memorial services for Blu will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2022 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel.

Services have been placed in the trust of Gipson Funeral Home.
