Julia Esteves

Mass of the Christian Burial for Julia Esteves will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Father Francis O'Dowd, and Father Raymundo Garcia, celebrants. Interment will follow in the Forest Haven Cemetery in Diboll.

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Monday evening at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with the family receiving friends and loved ones from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Mrs. Esteves, 62, of Diboll, was born January 28, 1949 in San Juan, Texas. She passed away Saturday, October 8, 2011 in Lake Charles, Louisiana, following an automobile accident.

Mrs. Esteves worked for Diboll ISD for 28 years. She was a giving person and very family oriented. Her children and grandchildren were the loves of her life. She was a wonderful mother-in-law. She spent a lot of time with her grandchildren and enjoyed going to their baseball games. Mrs. Esteves was a devout member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. She helped make rosaries at the Church and was a member of the R.C.I.A.

Survivors include her husband, Rojelio Esteves of Diboll; son and daughter-in-law, Erasmo and Christi Esteves of Lufkin; daughters and sons-in-law, Ermelinda and Agustin Enriquez and Elvia and Luis Garza, all of Diboll; grandchildren, Julia Krystina Esteves, Erasmo II and Stephy Esteves, Jesika Nicole Esteves, Lydia Zenaida Enriquez, Agustin Enriquez, Jr., Analicia Enriquez, Isabel Garza, Sofia Garza, and Olivia Garza; great-grandson, Jakob Kasper; mother, Celia Camarillo; and a number of other family members and friends.

Mrs. Esteves was preceded in death by her father, Manuel Garza; brother, Valentino Garza; granddaughter, Irene Inez Enriquez; and great-grandson, Joseph Bryce Avera.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Esteves, Eddie Esteves II, Agustin Enriquez, Agustin Enriquez Jr., Luis Garza and Marcus Esteves.

Honorary pallbearer will be Jakob Kasper.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mrs. Esteves' memory may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church, 2118 Lowery, Lufkin, Texas 75901.
