James Edward Anderson, 73, of Diboll, was born April 7, 1944 in Sherman, Texas, the son of the late Lena Faye (Grady) and Charles Fletcher Anderson. He passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at his residence. Per Mr. Anderson’s wishes, no service will be held.
Mr. Anderson was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a retired automotive welder. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with his family. He served his county in the United States Marine Corp.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Anderson of Diboll; son, James Earl Anderson of Huntington; daughters, Kaththea Mills and husband Daniel Mills and Keira Anderson and husband William Chandler, all of Diboll; son, Connor Anderson of Diboll; daughter, Elora Anderson of Diboll; grandson, Karsyn Chandler (and another on the way); sister, Susie Anderson; and brothers, Pete Anderson and Glen Anderson.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard Anderson and Robert Louis Anderson.
Services have been placed in the trust of Gipson Funeral Home.
