Herman L. "Mousey" White

Herman L. "Mousey" White, 71, of Etoile, was born August 12, 1938 in Fastrill, Texas, the son of the late Ollie Victoria (Stovall) and Jimmie Lee White. He passed away Sunday, May 2, 2010 in a Huntington nursing facility.

Mr. White was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was employed in the construction business for many years. He ejnoyed being outdoors and fishing. Mr. White was raised in the Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Ada (Smith) White of Etoile; son and daughter-in-law, Morris and Sandy White of Etoile; daughtr and son-in-law, Lori and Jim Boonstra of Tyler; grandchildren, Natalie, Nick and Tyler White and Michael and Jessica Boonstra; brother, John White; sisters-in-law, Kathryn White and Melba Joy White; and a number of nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. White was preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmie Lee White, Jr., William Henry White, Charles Franklin White and Ollie Kendall White.

Pallbearers will be Dean White, Kent White, Nick White, Tyler White, Jeff Hudspeth and Lester Glaze.

Services for Mr. White will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2010 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Vic Bass officiating. Interment will follow in the Ryan Chapel Cemetery.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at Gipson Funeral Home.
