Graveside services for Hazel M. Temple Smith, 98, of Lufkin, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2013 in the Fairview Cemetery in Nacogdoches, with Reverend Horace Fletcher officiating.
Mrs. Smith was born October 17, 1915 in Collins, Mississippi, the daughter of the late Mellie A. (Corley) and Andrew M. Temple. She passed away Monday, November 4, 2013 in a local nursing facility.
Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a loving wife. She enjoyed jewelry, crafts and crocheting.
Survivors include her niece, Janet Parker; sister, Cecile Temple Parrish; and a number of other family members.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Vaughn E. Smith.
