Mr. Kilgore was born September 20, 1945 in Angelina County, Texas, the son of the late Roxie (Middleton) and William Henry Kilgore. He passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015 in a local hospital.
Mr. Kilgore was a carpenter and woodworker by trade. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. He enjoyed backroading, visiting family and friends. He enjoyed horses and bull riding. He was a resident of Beulah for most of his life. Mr. Kilgore was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his son, Timothy Allen Kilgore of Casa Grande, Arizona; daughter, Susan Kilgore Parker and husband Cary of Diboll; grandchildren, Baylie and Dalton Parker; brothers and sisters-in-law, William Ray and Alice Kilgore of Diboll and Charles and Linda Kilgore of Lufkin; stepchildren, Treva Jo Nunley of Magnolia, Diane Savage of Austin and Ed Wuneburger of Grangerland; a number of nieces, nephews, and other family members; and a host of special friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Kilgore was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Ford; and sisters, Elsie Swallows and Betty Howell.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Dale Jones, Sam Baker, Walker Baker, Chris Hambrick, Henry Swallows and Johnny Swallows.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Gipson Funeral Home.
