Donna Marie (Waltz) Tucker

Services for Donna M. (Waltz) Tucker, 65, of Lufkin, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 8, 2015 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Horace Fletcher officiating. Interment will follow in the Gann Cemetery.

Ms. Tucker was born August 16, 1950 in Lufkin, Texas. She passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015 at her residence.

She was a homemaker and a loving mother and daughter – she loved all of her family dearly. Her passion was training and riding horses. She loved “shopping” with her daughter-in-law, Paula. Saturdays were their day to shop. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jason Brent and Paula Solly of Katy; son, Cody Tucker of Ft. Worth; mother, Theressa Waltz of Lufkin; 2 granddaughters; brother and sister-in-law, James “Bubba” and Ann Thompson of Pollok; brother, Rik Waltz of Lufkin; brother and sister-in-law, Chad and Brandy Waltz of Lufkin; and a number of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

Ms. Tucker was preceded in death by her father, Don Waltz; and grandparents, Melvin and Nora Simms, and Roland and Dorothy Waltz.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the funeral home.
