Services for Billy B. Dillard, 85, of Lufkin, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 22, 2016 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park with military honors.
Mr. Dillard was born June 17, 1930 in Oden, Arkansas, the son of the late Anna Louise (Rogers) and Wilton Dillard. He passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2016 in a local nursing facility.
Mr. Dillard was a devoted husband and father. He loved airplanes and his country. He served in the United States Air Force for 20 years.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Marcella Dillard of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Douglass Campbell of Lufkin; sister and brother-in-law, Martha and John Barnes of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; brothers-in-law and their wives, Olen and Sujane Baker of Houston and Carl and Sharon Baker of Louisville; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
