Services for Anita Louise Jones, 78, of Houston, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2021 in the Elwyn M. Gipson Memorial Chapel located in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park, 5205 S. First Street, with interment following in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.
Ms. Jones was born January 6, 1943 in Ville Platt, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Irene (Ortego) and L. M. Jones. She passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021 in Houston.
Ms. Jones was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved her puzzles, horses, and reading. She was a faithful Baptist.
Survivors include her daughters, Angela Johnson (Russ Melton) of Houston and Melinda Wyner of Ft. Worth; sister, Cindy Lay (Howard) of Tomball; and grandson, Chase Romero.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the charity of your choice.
The family will receive friends from Noon until service time Wednesday at the Elwyn M. Gipson Memorial Chapel located in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.
Services have been placed in the trust of Gipson Funeral Home.
