Memorial services for Amy McNiel, 55, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 5, 2015 in the Lufkin State Supported Living Chapel, with Chaplain Greg Freijo officiating. Interment will be in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.
Amy was born July 19, 1959 in Dallas, Texas to Tom and Maura (Anderson) McNiel. She passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015 at the Lufkin State Supported Living Center, where she resided for most of her life.
She is survived by her sister, Bridget McNiel.
Amy’s family wishes to thank her caregivers and social workers, Mary Williams and Cynthia Thigpen, for their care for Amy over the years.
Services have been placed in the trust of Gipson Funeral Home.
