Addie Marie Arnold

Addie Marie Arnold, 82, of Huntington, was born July 18, 1930 in Homer, Texas, the daughter of the late Ethyl (Smith) and Clarence Fenley. She passed away Friday, September 7, 2012 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Arnold was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was very important to her, and helped her through the trial of losing her son Kevin last year.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Sheila and Mike Lantz of Sulphur, Louisiana, Marilyn and Robin LeBourgeois of Pasadena and Carolyn and Manuel Rodriguez of Huntington; son, Stephen Arnold of Huntington; sisters, Nita Noel and Dot Carroll; brother, Gene Fenley; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a number of other family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Arnold was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Clarence Arnold; great-grandsons, Christian and Tristain Clark; brother, Glen Fenley; sister, Mary McBride; and infant brother, Johnny Fenley.

Pallbearers will be Ty Arnold (grandon), Corey LeBourgeois (grandson), Mark Clark (grandson), Brandon Arnold (grandson), Curtis Mitchell (grandson), and Nick Perez.

Honorary pallbearers will be Robin LeBourgeois, Mike Sterling, and Manuel Rodriguez.

Services for Marie Arnold will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 11, 2012 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Ronnie Frankens and Claude Welch officiating. Interment will follow in the Fielders Cemetery in Homer.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at Gipson Funeral Home.
