Wanda Spence

Family graveside services for Wanda Spence, 63, of Strasburg, CO. were held at 10 am, Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Resthaven Memorial Park with Dr. Ken Horn officiating. Wanda passed away Sunday, August 21, 2011 in Strasburg.Wanda Lynn Love was born July 28, 1948 in Spur, Texas to Jessie and LaJuan (Horton) Love.

She graduated from Shallowater High School and later continued her education at Wayland Baptist College and Colorado Christian College where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources.

She was previous employed by the Comptroller’s Office for the State of Texas, Financial Entity in Denver and was currently serving as Chief Human Resources officer for the Mile High Chapter of the American Red Cross. She married the love of her life, Butch Spence, August 20, 1989.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jessie Love.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her loving husband Butch, of Strasburg, Co., mother, LaJuan Love of Lubbock, sister; Debbie Miller and husband, Stan, of Littleton, Co., brothers; Gary Love and wife, Lisa, of Mt. Holly, Pa., and Jeff Love and wife, Cherry, of Lubbock and many loving nieces and nephews.
