Violet Lanita Rigsbee

Violet Lanita was born on March 25th, 1939, in Amherst, Texas, to Clyde Azle Pace and Alpha Laverne Pace.

She would go on to meet and marry the love of her life, Mr. Charles A. Rigsbee and welcome three children into the world; Charles Rigsbee, Byron Rigsbee, and Steven Rigsbee.

Violet Lanita spent her life making a loving home for her husband and sons, and had a passion for sewing, quilting, and pottery.

Violet Lanita was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde Azle Pace and Alpha Laverne Pace, and her loving husband, Charles A. Rigsbee.

She is survived by her three sons, Charles (Judy) Rigsbee, Byron Rigsbee, and Steven Rigsbee; as well as her brothers, Darrell Pace and Phillip Pace.

Her legacy continues on through her three grandchildren; Debra Rigsbee, Kasey Rigsbee, and David Rigsbee; and her eight great-grandchildren; Noah Villarreal, Arianna Villarreal, Jayme Pichardo, Olivia Rollins, Jaylon Brown, Grady Rigsbee, Rhealeigh Rigsbee, and Blaine Rigsbee.

A visitation for Violet will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home & Cemetery, 5740 West 19th Street, Lubbock, TX 79407. A funeral service will occur Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home & Cemetery.
