Valda Bradley

She was born on May 26th 1934 to Henry Counts and Dellia Ridlehuber in The Mayfield Community, Hill County, Texas. She married Wayland Bradley on February 28, 1959. She became a nurse in 1955 and practiced nursing until the early 80’s when she retired to help run Bradley’s ATI Transmissions with her husband for 28 years. She enjoyed bowling and the Lady Raiders. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Wayland Bradley, her parents Henry and Dellia Ridlehuber, 6 brothers, Eugene, Garland, Bill, James, Harold and Joe Ridlehuber and her daughter Susan Levonius. Those left to cherish her memory are her children Susie Bartley, Curtis Wayne Bradley, Curtis Wayland (Bo) Bradley. Grandchildren Nicole McGough and her husband Michael, Trina McDowell and her husband Brent, Tony Savage and wife Sonja, Austin Levonius and wife Amanda, son-in-law Rob Levonius and 9 great

grandchildren.

Her family would like to thank Kindred Hospice of Lubbock for the exceptional care they received.

A visitation for Valda will be held Monday, October 24, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home, 5740 West 19th St, Lubbock, TX 79407. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at 2:00 PM, 5740 West 19th St, Lubbock, TX 79407. A graveside will occur at Resthaven Cemetery, 5740 West 19th St, Lubbock, TX 79407.
