Tracy graduated from Amarillo High School (where he was also known as TJ) and later graduated from both Amarillo College and Wayland Amarillo Campus. He worked at both Amarillo College and Sam’s Club.
Family and friends remember Tracy as a dedicated and loyal friend; although he battled numerous health issues in recent years, he still loved Burger King, mashed potatoes, and Grandmother’s Chocolate Pie. TJ enjoyed Star Trek and the Beatles. He hated having his picture taken so finding a recent picture was a chore!
He was preceded in death by his parents, Brig and Betty Young; two brothers, Gary and Kim Young; and great nephew, Kole.
He is survived by his sister, Vicki McKibben and husband Dexter; nieces and nephew: Kristel Sexton and husband Joel, Dallas McKibben, April Hayes and husband Trey, Rosanne Walker; great nieces and nephews: Hayli, Madeline, Presley, Isobel, Emery, Dublin, Tyler, Reagan, Kamryn, and Connor; and his beloved dog, Gizmo.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Resthaven Memorial Park.
