Stephen was born to Pablo Rodriguez and Tereza Mckelvain on December 18, 1965 in Lubbock Texas. He attended Stubbs elementary, Smiley Wilson Jr High and graduated from Monterey High School. Stephen loved his career working for royal concrete. He also worked alongside his dad.
Stephen had a passion for people, he made a friend everywhere he went. He loved his family, his two sisters and his mother. He was always ready to lend a helping hand.
Stephen was preceded in death by his father, Pablo Rodriguez.
Stephen is survived by his mother, Tereza and husband Richard Mckelvain; Sisters, Paula Rodriguez, Lynn Rodriguez-Martinez and husband Samuel.
A visitation for Stephen will be held Monday, April 17, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Resthaven Funeral Home, 5740 19th St., Lubbock, Texas. Following the visitation will be a funeral service at 2:00 PM at Resthaven's Abbey Chapel, 5740 19th St., Lubbock, Texas.
