Sheryl Diane Sanders-Atwood, 54, passed away to her Lord and Savior on August 4, 2015. She was born in Pasadena, TX on January 16, 1961. Soon after, Sheryl and her family moved to Lubbock where she graduated from Monterey High School. There, she enjoyed track and field and her active leadership role as a student council officer. Sheryl went on to attend Texas Tech University and was member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. She graduated in 1983 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in advertising and began her career as a flight attendant with American Airlines.
Sheryl was a very talented designer of arts and crafts, and had a true love all animals. She was exceptionally generous with helping others, especially those less fortunate.
Sheryl is survived by her parents, Delbert and Helen Sanders; brother Steven Sanders; son Ryan Atwood.
