Ruby Lee White

Ruby L White, age 87, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Ruby was the seventh of eight children; born October 27th 1927 in Carlisle, Texas (also known as Bush City), to the late James Washington and Ruby Pearl Bush. She married the late Royce Neil White on January 2, 1953.

Ruby retired in 1984 after 34 years of service with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company.

Ruby is preceded in death by her; sisters, Patricia, Dorothy, Loyce and Juanita; brothers, John, Elmer and Herman.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Debbie Ridge, Breckenridge, TX., Robyn (Jim) Webb, Iowa Park, TX.; grandchildren, Shelley, Royce, Tori and Kyler; her best buddy “Kramer” (her grand-dog); many nieces and nephews that loved her dearly and all the friends she held close to her heart.

Ruby was an angel on earth and will be greatly missed by her daughters, son-in-law and grandchildren who loved her dearly.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 5, 2014 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Eldon Reynolds on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 11:00AM in the Abbey Chapel at Resthaven Funeral Home & Memorial Park.

Arrangements are under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home & Memorial Park of Lubbock, Texas.
