Ruby Doris Harper 78 of Lubbock passed away on December 17, 2012. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday December 19, 2012 at Resthaven Abbey Chapel at 1:00pm with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Ruby was born on February 5, 1934 to R.L and Estie Goza in Jones County. She married Ronald Dell Harper on August 8, 1953. She was very talented in many ways. From sewing to remolding homes to having a beautiful garden her talents were very strong. Ruby was a wonderful doll maker and even established her own ceramic shop with her husband. She loved her church and family dearly and taught them values, respect for others and to be honest and truthful. Ruby also had many dogs over the years who she loved very much.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister in law Varona Mitchell and Sister Joyce Henning.
Ruby is survived by her son Bobby Harper and wife Sidney of Valle de Oro, TX and daughter Beth Harris and husband Lad of Lubbock. Sisters Betty Faust and Evelyn Lollar. 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren
