Roger graduated from Lubbock High School and worked for Mountain Bell Telephone Company for 35 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jim Dale Roberson; daughter, Carol Lee Roberson, sister, Shirley Higley and is survived by sons, Joe Allen Roberson, and David Neal Roberson and wife Beth; daughters, Vanita Ann Paulson and husband Jeff, and Susan Ray Roberson; brother, Dale Ray Roberson; sister, Leta Sissler and husband Jerry; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, August 14, 2017 at Resthaven Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 15, 2017 in the Abbey Chapel at Resthaven Funeral Home.
Entombment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation.
