He moved to Lubbock in the 60’s from San Angelo. He worked freight for several years and was owner and operator of a furniture store; he then worked at SPEC, retiring in 2000. He loved so many co-workers. Rodney loved to travel and toured several countries and was a great photographer, for which he won several awards. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved the life he and Sharon had made together. Rodney is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sharon Crooks Harvey; two sons, Stephen (Teresa) Harvey, Coy Lee (Jeannie) Harvey; nine grandchildren and are about to have their 14th great grandchild. Rodney was a great Dad, PaPaw, Big Brother, Uncle and friend, but most of all a great husband. He was loved by everyone who knew him. Thanks to everyone who helped during his illness.
