Robert Clifford Melvin Jr.

Robert Clifford Melvin Jr, 58, went to his new home in Heaven on Thursday April 23, 2015. He was born October 4, 1956 in San Antonio TX to Robert and Virginia Melvin. He was a graduate of Coronado High School. His work career consisted of truck driving for 38 years. He was employed by J.P. Energy at the time of his death. Robert was an avid baseball player, playing from his youth into adulthood. He was a faithful member of Bethany Baptist Church. He cherished his time with his kids and grandkids along with his willingness to help others.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; children, Kelsee Melvin, Madison Spencer and husband Austin, Robert Kegan Melvin, Vickie Campbell and Cortney Jeskey and husband William; mother, Virginia Melvin; siblings, John Melvin and wife Judy, Frances White and husband Darold and his twin brother Ronald Melvin and wife Kim; grandchildren, Kayli, Kristyn, Katelyn, Kelsey, Loralei, Landon, Karson and Witten; great-grandchildren, Sherri, Annalee, Melonie and 2 on the way.

He was preceded in death by his dad and a daughter, Lakin Victoria Melvin.
