She was born in Lamb county, Texas in July 23, 1933. Retha graduated from Olton High School.
She was married to Jack O’Neal Crowther October 21, 1952. Retha worked for Honeywell Inc. in Lubbock, Texas for 20 years, and for Children’s Connection for 10 years.
She was a member of FUMC Shallowater Method Women, Shallowater Meals on Wheels and Shallowwater Methodist Church. She had a passion for Family, friends and community.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, her husband Jack and son Carl; and close friend Madine Fairborn.
She is survived by Lynn Crowther (son), Debra Fairchild (daughter), one grandson, 2 granddaughters and four great-grandchildren, her sister Beverly McWhorter and also a close friend Elizabeth Jo Cross.
