Jeannie went back to school and finished her bachelor’s degree in Education at Texas Tech in 1989 and loved her teaching career at Christ the King Cathedral School, Estacado High School and finally at South Plains College-Lubbock Campuses for the last 25 years.
She earned her Master’s in Secondary Education from Sul Ross University in 1998 by attending on weekends, traveling with her best friend Delores Martinez. She found great fulfillment in helping both young and returning older students. She believed in them and helped many to realize their potential.
