Pat Jayne Echols

Pat was born in Whitewright, Texas on July 9, 1933. She was a graduate from Wolfforth High School and received her Bachelors degree from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. She graduated with her Masters Degree in Education from Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, New Mexico. She later moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico where she had a long and fulfilling career as an elementary school teacher. She loved reading books, teaching her students and being around her friends.

Pat retired to Arlington, Tx to be closer to family. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Arlington. She also enjoyed traveling and spending time with family.

She is survived by her son, Dr. Dan Echols and wife Donna; grandchildren, Courtney Echols Morel and Brandon Echols.

The family would like to thank Brookdale Pecan Park in Arlington for their wonderful care and support.

A graveside service will be held at Resthaven Memorial Park in Lubbock, Tx on March 17, 2023.
