Nina T. Brown

She was a proud resident of the Ropesville, Texas, community and a member of the United Methodist Church since 1948. She married Claude Brown in 1935, together, they raised three daughters. Nina and Claude celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary before his death in 2001.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Maxine Rainwater.

She is survived by her daughters, Wanda (J.T.) Drake, of Ropesville, Texas, Deloroes “Snookie” (George) Holland, of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Jerry, Scott, Joel, Susan, Chad, and Jill; 13 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren and many close friends she considered family.

Visitation will be Friday, March 27, 2015 from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Funeral service will be Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 10AM in the Ropesville United Methodist Church, Ropesville, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations made in her name to a charity of your choice.
