Nelda Ledbetter

Celebration of Life services for Nelda Sue Ledbetter, 79, of Lubbock, will be held at 1 pm Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel with Rev Carlos Hinojos and Rev. Syl Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Monday, December 11, 2017 from 6:30-8 pm at Resthaven Funeral Home. Services are under the personal direction of the professionals at Resthaven Funeral Home.

Nelda passed from this life Tuesday, December 5, 2017 in Lubbock. She was born July 20, 1938 in Bangs, Texas to the late Oral Harland and Nelda Pauline (Wells) Barnes. She was a member of Redbud Baptist Church. Nelda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joe Melvin Ledbetter and a sister, Fern Baker.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her son, William Dale Adams and wife Sarah; sisters, Iris Vorhees , and Debbie Skipper; granddaughters, Angela Huertas, Karyn Adkins and Carol Rains, great grandchildren, Graycie Adkins, Givyn Adkins, Sutton Falcon and Kellan Falcon.
