Michael Wayne Williamson, 72, of Shallowater passed away peacefully February 2,2024 in Plano, Texas. He was born May 30, 1951, in Lubbock to the late Elvin Hayes and Gwendolyn Rhea (Gallahar)Williamson.
He Married Donna Sue Querry July 23, 1975. She preceded him in death May 14, 2017.
Mike was raised in the Shallowater area where he worked as a farmer and with Lubbock County retiring in 2016. In his retirement he enjoyed nature, gardening, yard work and spending time with family.
Those left to cherish his memory are three children; Michelle Henard and husband Anthony of Celina,
Angela Lambert and husband David of Frisco, and Chris Williamson of Lubbock; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; a sister, Lana Box, of Plainview and a brother Don Williamson of Shallowater.
He was preceded in death by his brother Johnny Williamson.
A graveside service for Michael will be held Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 1:30 PM at Resthaven Memorial Cemetery, 5740 West 19th St, Lubbock, TX 79407 with Reverend Mitch Wilson officiating.
