Meceala "Toni" Loera
Mecaela Q. Loera was born on February 4, 1947, in Bishop, TX to Edwardo and Teles Flora Martinez Quevedo.
She died on February 25, 2024, peacefully in her home surrounded by her family.
She resided in Lubbock TX for 72 yrs. She was a home health provider for over 40 years.
Taking care of the elderly was her passion. The families she served appreciated her compassion for their loved ones. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, and good to all those that knew her in their own special way. Her love never left us. She always put others needs before her own.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children; Johnny Castillo, Diane Sargable, Jessica Loera, and her step daughter Ester Thompson; thirteen grandchildren and twenty five great grandchildren who will all miss her dearly, and her siblings; Ramiro Quevedo, Rufus Quevedo, Joe Quevedo and Rosa Salas Hunter.
She is proceeded in death by her late husband Abelardo P. Loera, her step grandson Zachary Thompson, her sister; Mary Garcia, and one brother Raul Quevedo.
Mamma we are all going to miss you dearly and we love you... until we meet again fly as high as you can. Te Amo!
