Maudie Edge, 86, of Lubbock passed away on March 24, 2013 surrounded by her family. A visitation will be held Tuesday March 26, 2013 at Resthaven Funeral Home from 1:00 pm until 2:15 pm. Graveside Services will follow at 2:30 pm in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Maudie was born on March 6, 1927 in Clarksville, Texas to the late Floyd and Nancy (Trammell) Foster. She married Earl Edge on May 25, 1953. She was a loving, strong willed Christian woman. She worked in the Cafeteria of Bayless Elementary School; she was a hard worker and worked up until she was 79 years old. Her strong willed personality could be seen through the way she led her family as its matriarch.
She is survived by two daughters , Sharon Eldredge and husband Roy, Rhonda Cook and husband Kenneth; three grandchildren Terry Edge, Wayne Eldredge, and Shawna Daniel; four great grandchildren Alyssa Daniel, Michael Daniel, Wyatt Edge, and Abby Daniel; one brother Vernon Edge.
