Mary was preceded in death by Bob, 3 months and 5 days earlier; her parents, John and Opal Kuykendall; and 2 brothers, John W. and Bill Kuykendall.
Mary is survived by four children: Gary Simpson of San Angelo, TX, Linda Cooper Simpson of Rio Rancho, NM, Jack Simpson of Holly Lake Ranch, TX, and Kellie Mitchell Simpson of Lubbock, TX; Nine grandchildren: Paul, Daniel and Evan Simpson, Cameron and Darren Cooper, Jake and Travis Simpson and Nick and Lyndsie Gonzales; and nine great-grand-children.
Mary was always a generous giver and helped others any way she could. She was a campfire girl and Cub Scout leader, involved in PTA while the children attended school, and volunteered at the hospital.
She loved her family and was always there for them. Her door was always open to those in need.
Mary loved Jesus, her husband and family, her friends and her flowers. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
