Mary Margaret Harris

Mary Margaret Harris, 89, of San Angelo passed away on Tuesday, May 9,2017. She was born on July 20, 1927 in Belton, TX to the late Harvey S. and Margaret Lucinda Hamrick. Mrs. Harris married Melvin L. Harris on October 18, 1946.

Mrs. Harris worked for the Lubbock Independent School District as an Administrative Assistant for many years. She was a member of the Church of Christ, and had a passion for The Bible, and for her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband: M.L. Harris of Lubbock, TX, Son; Larry Harris of San Angelo,TX, Daughter; Laurie Grizzel of Belton, TX, Sister; Doris Miller of Santa Fe, NM, and Brother; Buck Hamrick of Bowie, TX.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Terry Harris (Brenda) of San Angelo, TX, Ruby Rose of San Marcos, TX, Steve Harris (Pam) of Paonia, CO, and Gary Harris (Trenia) of Lubbock, TX. She was also blessed with 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and one great-greatgrandchild. Mrs. Harris also leaves behind one brother; Fred Hamrick (Darlene) of Allen, TX.
