Konstantinos "Deno" Tzemos

Konstantinos “Deno” Tzemos, 65, of Lubbock passed away on September 12, 2013. The family will receive friends to share in his memory for a visitation on Monday September 16, 2013 from 5 to 7 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at St. Andrew’s Greek Orthodox Church in Lubbock on Tuesday September 17, 2013 at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.

Deno was born on October 6, 1947 in Felia Kalavrita Greece.

While in Greece he met and married the love of his life Kathy. Together they started their life as business entrepreneurs in the restaurant industry at Andrews on Broadway. They also owned and operate Pete's Drive-in. Deno enjoyed his work and offered outstanding customer service to those patronizing his business.

Deno loved his family and instilled solid values in his children to live productive lives. He enjoyed social gatherings where his vibrant personality created a memorable time for all in attendance. He was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories his wife, Kathy; children, Tom Tzemos, Chris Tzemos, and Christina and husband Derek; and a grandson he adored Gage Deno Hunter; 2 brothers; 2 sisters, all of Greece; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
