Kenneth Alexander Swanner, 84, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away on December 31, 2021. He was born in Littlefield, Texas on February 20, 1937 to Marvin and Anna Bell Swanner. Kenneth graduated from Floydada High School and then attended Draughan’s Business College.
He married Nancy Coats on June 6, 1957. They enjoyed 46 years marriage together before her passing on June 3, 2004. On October 13, 2007 he married Bettie Sides. They enjoyed 14 years of marriage before his passing.
He is survived by his wife Bettie Swanner, son Danny Swanner and wife Jeanie, daughter Pam Dillon and husband Tony; four grandchildren Morgan Swanner, Logan Swanner, Amy Henshaw and husband Devlin, and Regan Dillon; two great grandchildren Ava Henshaw and Kenley Henshaw; stepson Kelly Sides and wife Mary, stepdaughter DeAnn Weir and husband Jim; six grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; and a brother Gene Swanner and wife Mary of Pinegrove, CA.
He is preceded in death by his first wife Nancy Coats, his parents Marvin and Anna Bell and his sister JoAnn Jacobs.
Services will be held Friday, January 14, 2022, at Resthaven Funeral Home beginning with a visitation from 1PM to 2PM with a Celebration of Life beginning at 2PM.
