Celebration of life for Julia B Sanchez, 78, of Woodrow, Texas. Graveside mass will be on Wednesday December 23, 2020 at Peaceful Garden Cemetery, officiating Deacon Juan Cavasos. Services at Resthaven will be held at 2pm prior to graveside. Rosary will be at Resthaven Funeral Home, Tuesday December 22,2020 from 5-6, and visitation from 4-6.
Julia died Monday December 14, 2020 at Covenant Medical Center.
Julia was born on June 29,1942 to Ysmael and Maria Bela in Rosebud,Tx. Later moved to Petersburg, and then to Lubbock.
Julia is proceeded in death by her parents Ysmael and Maria Bela, brother Jessie Bela, great granddaughter Kaiden Torres, Rosaleo Sanchez and Jessie Martinez.
Julia is survived by her son John and wife Connie Sanchez of Woodrow, daughter Rebecca (Becky) and husband Nate Bengoa of Lubbock, daughter Cynthia (Cindy) and husband Cosme Martinez of Woodrow.
Grandchildren John and wife Amanda Sanchez, Rehnea Sanchez, Charles and wife Amanda Sanchez. Ysmael Gabriel and wife Flora Saldivar, Jeniffer Torres, Rod D'Angelo Torres, Matthew and wife Lisa Sanchez, Jonathan Sanchez, Ysmael and wife Kim Biera. 21- great grand children.
Brother Gilbert and wife Natalie Bela, sister Mary and husband Felix, brother Ismael and wife Olga Bela ,and sister Janie and husband Joe Torres.
Julia loved her children with all her heart, that she called her krispies. She was full of life and touched everyone with her kindness. Family was everything to her. She loved to dance, watch her novela, and play spanish bingo with family. She also loved to make jewelry and floral arrangements. Mom is the true meaning of Love is kindness.
