Juanita "Nita" Ramage

Juanita “Nita” Ramage joined her parents, son Ronnie, 6 brothers and sister in her heavenly home on July 30, 2023. She was born February 26, 1935, in Oak Grove, La. to Osbon Perot and Vera (Dye) Perot.

Nita was a woman a faith who accepted Christ at an early age. She attended Fisk Union elementary school then moved to Lamesa, Texas where she loved playing basketball and completed her high school years. She also furthered her education studying business at Draughon’s Junior College.

Nita was an entrepreneur and worked for herself until her retirement. She enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, decorating her home and hosting guests and visitors. She also enjoyed traveling the USA by motorcoach with her long-time companion of 40 years, Glenn Williamson.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her daughters, Connie Kayal Sarratt and Nina Kayal Richardson with husband Jimmy; grandson, Ramzi White with wife Kendra; three great-grandsons: Kayal, Gavin, and Emerson White; sister, Joan Moore; brother, Gene Perot; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and longtime companion, Glenn Williamson.

The family will begin receiving guests on Thursday, August 3, 2023 from 6pm-8pm. Services will continue on Friday, August 4, 2023 with a 10am Celebration of Life service in Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
