Joyce Campbell

Leota Joyce Campbell, lovingly known as Joyce, entered into eternal rest on November 23, 2021 at the age of 95. Born in Woodson, TX on April 11, 1926 to the late Austin and Laura Leonard; she now reunites with her parents; husband, Wiley Wesley Campbell; daughter, Laura Hammock; sister, Darlene Lancaster; and brother, Doyle Leonard.

Joyce was a devoted woman of God. She enjoyed spending time with her Church family, and in her younger years, she was a dedicated seamstress, having made many bridal dresses and other garments. She also enjoyed gardening on her free time, but her most memorable moments were spent with her family.

Joyce leaves behind to cherish her memories her children, Ray Campbell and wife Pam of Lubbock, TX, Carol Duncan and husband Gary of Seminole, TX; grandchildren: Wesley Campbell, Craig Campbell, Amanda Jackson, Ty Duncan, Trey Duncan, Kristi Duncan, Kyle Hammock, Eric Hammock, Tyler Hammock, Kelsey Morris; 22 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Martha Hightower; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The family will be celebrating her life on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 with a visitation at Resthaven Funeral Home from 11am-12pm. Graveside service will follow in Levelland Cemetery at 2pm.
