Josephine Villarreal Gomez, 76, of Wolfforth, passed away December 13, 2010. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, December 16, 2010, at 10:00 AM at Church on the Rock. Pastor Robert Rentaria will officiate. Interment will follow in Peaceful Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home. A Rosary will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2010, at 7:00 PM, in the Abbey Chapel at Resthaven Funeral Home.
Mrs. Gomez was born March 13, 1934, in Orange Grove, TX to parents Rose and Fidel Villarreal. She was the mother of 14 children and spent the majority of her life as a devoted wife and homemaker.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Cesario B. Gomez; eight sons; six daughters; 27 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
